NEXT GENERATION SUBMARINE





The nuclear submarine is the ultimate wartime deterrent. The current submarine industry has been upset with the decision of the United States and United Kingdom sharing their nuclear submarine platforms with Australia. This goes against the Non-Proliferation agreement which all three countries are bound to adhere.


This has driven a number of countries throughout the eastern hemisphere to procure their own indigenous program. This global fallout has created the next cold war. The nuclear submarine design and development knowledge has been now transferred to China, India, Iran, and North Korea, and South Korea. This sets a dangerous presence for all proxy wars and future war theaters.




CLAYTON INDUSTRIES PROPRIETY DESIGN CHANGES THE SUBSEA ENVIRONMENT.


The following system engineering attributes are incorporated in Geisterhall design:


1). The hull and internal modular construction techniques offer superior compressive strength,

and torsional loads, eliminates corrosion between interfaces &

bulkheads.


2). Prime mover (power generation block with direct propulsion) is engineered to provide adequate system

system power plus energy reserves to operate weapon systems. The submarine will be equipped with an

advanced small modular (3-pack) based on a fusion subcritical nuclear core.


3). Power distribution will utilize a new breed of medium and high voltage cabling. This medium will provide zero

resistance, and internal energy storage scheme compared to traditional copper and aluminum bar bar

infrastructure.


4). Stealth capability is a novel addition in which the current and future nuclear submarines cannot

achieve with their archaic metallurgy and process controls. The exotic material will incorporate sonar

absorbing material which surpasses the current tiles placed on the existing submarines to reduce detection

cross area.

The submarine platform can not be compromised in the changing subsea environment. The submarine must be parred with a detachable asset which can perform the following missions::


1). reconnaissance


2). survey the terrain for mines


3). transport the explosive ordnance


4). Inflict damage to hull of adversaries by special weapon payloads (interchangeable)




The launch of fleet of torpedos has been a concept for decades but provides limited advantages. Modern torpedos are engineered to serve one mission. Clayton Industries is engineering a multirole platform which is not disposable. It functions as a delivery platform for an arsenal of weapon payloads. The role of the torpedo changes from just a weapon to a surgical instrument keeping the submarine out of harms way. In order to accomplish this new spectrum of missions the torpedo will be modeled with a micro-nuclear reactor. This provides indefinite operation in hostile water especially in shallow bays, enclaves, or lagoons.The nuclear power platform provides additional system attributes.
