Open Seas - The Concept

The Open Seas master plan design incorporate self-sustainable communities offshore to offer a different lifestyle. This community will start with the space port and subsea enclave described below and continue to develop both the underwater habit and above water real estate. The concept married the alternative lifestyle with adventure to a new habit or high society. The location is open to all countries to convene and contribute to science or just enjoy a slower pace of tranquility. Monaco needs this community to inspire international convention of peace and collective thinking for the future of the planet. The community will be free of politics and abstracts which distract the openers to human behavior. Open Seas is a special oasis where creativity can inspire innovation. The development will be open to all international investors as long as they share the same principles. The community will resonate with the same ocean design concept throughout. Individual suites can be designed to the leaser personal design studio.

OPEN SEAS - SPACE PORT

Space ports have been a privilege only for the host countries near the equator. This is a result of necessary trajectories and thrust calculations to the penetrate upper atmosphere based on fuel reserves. Chemical propulsion has been in existence since the early 1930 and has slowly materialized to afford limited space exploration. Nuclear propulsion is not a new concept and has been experimented with in the past for military applications.

Unfortunately, nuclear propulsion has been plagued by the legacy nuclear reactors utilized today for power generation. Fission-based nuclear reactors (technology found in all commercial and defense applications) emits radiation. This creates a problem for space exploration. In order to introduce a practical solution for nuclear propulsion. An innovative compact nuclear reactor must be designed (not based on the tokamak or stellarator configurations).

This advanced reactor be able to be directly coupled to the propulsion platform. The design is often referenced as a “direct drive configuration”. All nuclear propulsion is not the same, there are currently two completely different technology platforms:

1) Nuclear Thermal Propulsion (technology invented in the late 1950’s and reincarnated today) The legacy platform utilizes a fission-based nuclear reactor and cannot be used for manned missions. It must be transported to space by chemical rockets and it is designed for very short runtime intervals.

2) Nuclear Electric Propulsion (generates electricity usually off an radioisotope generator to drive ion thrusts) This choice is impractical for extended missions and any payloads.

3) Nuclear Pulse Propulsion (utilizes the plasma denotation of the reactor for thrust) This is the design in which Clayton Advanced Concepts will mature for space exploration. Unlike fission-based nuclear reactors which emit radiation the design will exhaust helium. This propulsion platform provides for safe manned exploration programs.

The space port concept is to construct a space port off the coast of Monaco which is far enough into international waters to not interfere with day-to-day operations in the mainland. This space port would provide launch capability from the sea without building a land mass at sea. This space port structure would house all the infrastructure to support space exploration missions.

OPEN SEAS - SUBSEA ENCLAVE

The environment below the ocean is prime for further exploration and establishing the first of its kind luxury resort. A resort with spa amenities designed to take advantage of underwater environment which reverses the human biological aging process.

Europe's coastal regions have limited territory for real estate redevelopment prospects. The subsea environment provides the ideal reason for nuclear energy. A subsea city which does not rely on the mainland for energy. Tapping advanced nuclear energy and breakthroughs in material science will pave the way to colonize the subsea landscape.

Clayton Advanced Concepts envisions an underwater city engineered with an exotic materials. Materials which accommodate marine ecosystem growth cycles. Materials which do not corrode and are susceptible to stress cracks, and fatigue. A new era of intelligent construction materials which increase strength as external water pressure is exerted against the membrane surface. The ability to incorporate nano sensors in material to monitor material conformity. Constructing the first underwater city would offer a new luxurious accommodations. The design will attempt to produce the external wall structure out of transparent materials to provide a full canvas of the underwater environment.

This new subsea enclave would provide a stable environment where the increasing municipal pollution would not erode your lifestyle. The entire city would be engineered on the principles of spending time in a hyper barrier for a full body recovery. The underwater complex will also provide pure oxygen ventilation systems in rooms and throughout complex based on proven acceptable levels.

The new era of spas which delay the aging process. It has been proven that spending time underwater reduces the aging of humans. A revealing study concluded when a reknown Scientist extended his expenditure underwater for more than 90 days . This time experiment provided evidence that his body experienced significant changes, including improvements in sleep, cholesterol, and inflammation, potentially indicating a reduction in the signs of aging.

The subsea enclave will provide the support corridor to expand coastal mainland real estate projects. Real estate projects have all become the same ordinary living cubicles. A radical change is necessary to provide a new experience. The underwater environment provides security and a clean environment to extend your retirement years in a higher standard of living.
